GAISCE
I began working towards my bronze Gaisce medal. To do this I've had to take part in many new activates. I completed my first assignment on the school camping trip where we stayed in Lough Dan for two nights and walked 22km. On this trip I learned how to light a fire and I also walked probably the most I've ever walled in one day! I've also completed my first six weeks in coaching which I am doing in Three Rock Rovers, I am helping coach the under 12s and in this I have learned new coaching skills and I also took part in a referee course and am now qualified to referee. Blogging is my personal skill has its something had never done before but I would now be confident to make websites if I was required to do so for a company has part of my work experience. I chose hockey as my physical recreation as it is a sport that I really enjoy and I benefit by doing it for an extra hour a week and my skills are improving. After finishing my GAISCE I was sad to leave my coaching but was grateful for all I had learned, my blogging skills have grown and I am very happen with my blog I have also had a fantastic hockey season! This was a brilliant activity to take part in and I would highly urge anyone to do this!
